Living the Poem

flight of the butterfly, rising free

Forbidden Passion

Your growing hunger
Feeds my darkest need for more
Feast now on my soul

Dance, Live, Play!

Open the curtains
Crank up the tunes
There is no sadness
There are no spoons

This Ring

June 25

This ring on my finger
I can’t seem to take it off
So many wonderful days
Alive in the vows that we made and kept

I struggle to remember your face
But still remember clearly
The sound of your words
Those little phrases that were ours

This ring on my finger
It symbolizes a love that lasts
Beyond your life
And beyond my memories

I want to move on
I want to live life without you
I want to take off this ring
But you are still here with me

A life to remember
Reminders in every part of our home
But the most present reminder
This ring, I cannot take from my finger
