flight of the butterfly, rising free

Thy Kingdom Come

For just a few moments
He wandered in the dark
Lost and alone
Cold, scared and stark

There the stark reality of the unseen thoughts prevails
Time and space folding into oblivion
A glance at the eternal corners of creation’s origin

Love Gone Amok

June 12, 2006

Love gone amok
Desire led astray
Praying for the familiar
Begging you to stay

Remembering when
Love was fresh and new
Hoping against hope
Hear my cry for you

I heard what you said
But you don't know my heart
How could you leave me?
Tear my life apart?

The pain is unbearable
Please take it away
Return my lover
End now my dismay

In time, I'll accept
Love forced isn't real
But for now I resist
Refuse to start to heal

My temptation to replace
Love lost with love anew
Will only bring heartache
Keep me bound in blue

Help me to know
Loving you starts with me
To love someone else
First, love I have to be
