Human Questions / Divine Answers

August 24, 2007

From whence does the spark of life blossom?

These bodies that we were given, that we have chosen, are merely vessels of the universal divinity that powers all that is. We are indeed part of a great whole. Many call this whole God. God has been given many names. In a sense, in that we are all in and of God, each of our names is a name of the one God. You contain the spark of creation that is connected to the perfect loving God that fuels all that exists, both seen and unseen.

Why did we decide that life need be difficult?

Along with these bodies, these perfect temples of providence and power, we were given individuality and will. While we are all, in a very real sense, one, we are each separate and distinct. Perhaps the greatest gifts possible, uniqueness, will and freedom, are given in the form of a mind existing within these bodies in which we reside. The oneness, the divine, the spirit, God, also exists in these minds and bodies; God exists everywhere. But freedom creates division. As we explore and learn and grow as unique and perfect creations in this realm, there is contention. Growth always is that way. I am unique and perfect because I am human. I am one and perfect because I am divine. When I accept and cherish and honor my humanity and divinity, they may exist in harmony. Their voices are different; they can however, sing the same song. As will and spirit join, peace is realized.

What is the nature of love?

Love is supporting the growth and merging of divinity and humanity. Love is made manifest in any action or word or feeling that reduces the perception of contention or separation of mind and spirit. When I help you to see or accept or live these truths, we are participants in love. To give love is to receive it. To receive love is to give it. We are one. All love benefits the one that we are. Love also benefits the humanity that is within both lover and loved. Love flows from the spark that is our essence. Love was and is and will be; love is timeless and ageless and always.
