A wonderful night to dance...

February 20, 2007

She walked into the room. No, not precisely. She glided, floated, walked into my heart. Yes. That's closer. It started with a a few teasing glances, moved to engaging words expressing, or at least implying, interest. There was something about her gentleness. Her kindness. Her care. And there was something much deeper. She was one who knew. And one who knows. And one who is unafraid to use that knowledge to enhance the lives of those she touches.

A few more words. A few more looks. A few more moments. And then we danced. When we first touched there was a deep knowing. I fell in love. Emotions. So fast. My heart knew. My mind needed a bit of time to catch up. When it did, I chose. I chose to follow my heart. Now my heart must catch up to my mind. As we dance.
